At the Ca' Foscari University, Venice, (Italy),  we are opening an associate  professor position (RTB).

Teaching commitment: The candidate will be expected to carry out activities teaching will be carried out within the framework of the degree courses of the Department and, more generally, of those of the scientific area, mainly in the courses of courses of Engineering Physics (three-year degree course) and of Engineering Physics (three-year degree course). The lecturer will be
required to carry out teaching activities for no less than 60 hours.

In particular, the researcher shall hold the following courses:
- Physics of matter;
- Quantum optics.

The teaching assignments may also be subject to variations in accordance with the Department's
Department's teaching program approved from year to year.

Scientific commitment: The research activity shall focus on topics related to the theoretical physics of materials materials, with particular interest in Density Functional Theory (DFT) and/or ab initio calculations on systems correlated and/or topological systems.
