Several Postdoc positions in catalyst and battery interfaces in Tsukuba, JAPAN
We are offering several postdoc positions at Nano-System Computational Science (NSCS) Group, International Center for Materials Nanoarchitectonics (MANA), National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Tsukuba, JAPAN, in the following areas;
The successful candidates will work on elucidation of atomistic mechanisms of the reactions at those interfaces and/or design of novel materials for the systems with higher efficiency. On top of that, some of the candidates will be involved in the national post-K computer project (Flagship 2020). Quantum ESPRESSO and CPMD will be main codes for these projects. The positions are initially for one fiscal year in Japan and can be extended for another one to two years based on the research performance and mutual interest.
The NSCS group in MANA, NIMS offers a pretty international environment, sufficient computational resources and collaborations with outstanding experimentalists and theorists. Details of the NSCS group activities will be found on,
