We are seeking a Research Associate for a project aimed at the development of a predictive model to describe the nucleation and growth of corrosion scales.

The successful candidate will join a large inter-disciplinary team working on the first principles and classical modelling of material properties. The work will be performed within the Thomas Young Centre at Imperial College in close collaboration with experimental research groups at Imperial College, and the Universities of Manchester and Cambridge who will be using state of the art in situ microscopy, spectroscopy and diffraction to provide nanoscale structural and chemical characterisation of corrosion scales.
