PERTURBO code virtual workshop (No replies)

Dear Colleague,

We are excited to announce a virtual workshop on PERTURBO, our software package for ab initio calculations of electron-phonon interactions, charge transport, and ultrafast carrier dynamics in materials (https://perturbo-code.github.io). The workshop will be held remotely via Zoom on November 18 at 15:00 - 19:00 (GMT+1). Due to time zone issues, this event is geared toward participants from Europe.

The workshop will cover both theory and practice, focusing on the following topics:
- Theory of electron-phonon (e-ph) interactions and charge transport / ultrafast dynamics in the Boltzmann transport equation (BTE) framework.
- Code download, build and setup. Preliminary steps and interface with other codes (DFT/DFPT with Quantum Espresso, Wannier function generation with Wannier90).
- Tutorials: calculations of e-ph matrix elements and scattering rates; charge transport and ultrafast electron dynamics in the BTE framework.

We kindly ask interested participants to fill out this Google form as soon as possible to secure a spot at the workshop. For practical reasons, the number of participants is capped.
