We are organizing a one week workshop (5-10 June 2016) at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign on quantum Monte Carlo techniques. Activities are aimed at students and postdocs, but all researchers are welcome. We are particularly interested in participants that are planning to use quantum Monte Carlo in their research. Lectures will be held in the mornings; hands-on sessions using the QMCPACK code via remote access to Argonne’s Blue Gene Q supercomputer will take place each afternoon. Collaboration between the QMCPACK developers and participants after the conclusion of the workshop is encouraged.

The program will support the lodging and some of meals of the attendees. Registration is $150 to help cover some of our expenses, but this is reduced to $75 if the participants present a poster. For full consideration of admission to the workshop, our application deadline is 28 March 2016.
