Several post-doctoral positions are expected very soon at KAU, Saudi Arabia for talented and motivated individuals in computational condensed matter physics who could work independently. Currently pursued research themes are electronic structure and thermoelectric properties of 2D materials, Perovskites, Heuler compounds, Solar cells, design of new materials and other related areas.

The successful candidates are expected to hold a PhD degree in computational Physics, chemistry, materials modelling or other relevant discipline. Candidates should be fluent in written and spoken English with an emerging track record of peer-reviewed publications. Previous experience with advanced electronic-structure calculations is requested.
