A new call for a Research assistant (called “Assegno di Ricerca”) at the Physics Department “Aldo Pontremoli”, University of Milan (Unimi), is open. The candidate will work primarily under the supervision of Prof. Francesca Baletto (http://www.balettogroup.org), as well as other members of the solid-state theoretical group and in close collaboration with the experimental group at Unimi. The candidate should submit a research proposal which focuses on the development of machine learned interatomic potentials for hetero-nanostructures, and/or to develop numerical strategy to understand the chemo-physical properties of nanoalloys. The interested candidates should send their CV and a drafted research proposal to [email protected], possibly by 8 December 2021 (CET). Francesca will help to strength the proposal and overview the submission.

The final proposal should submitted through the Unimi portal by 17 December 2021 at noon (CET, Central European Time).
