Postdoc position in multiscale magnetisation dynamics and magnetoelastic coupling at the micromagnetic length scale

Starting date: January 2022, or after negotiation.

The postdoc will work in a research environment around Prof. Olle Eriksson, Dr. Manuel Pereiro and Dr. Anders Bergman, Uppsala University. The research involves development and application of multiscale magnetization dynamics, and the magneto-mechanical coupling at the micromagnetic length scale. The studies involve dynamics of domain walls and skyrmions, and the influence of magneto-mechanical coupling. The studies require good analytical as well as numerical skills of a successful candidate. Furthermore, the selected candidate is expected to interact closely with experimental activities.

The applicant is expected to have a PhD degree in physics or applied mathematics. The application should include a statement of research interest, CV, certificates of exams, degrees and grades, a copy of the PhD thesis, or equivalent, published articles and other relevant materials, if available. Also, letter(s) of recommendation can be included.
