A postdoctoral research position is available in Dr. Jung-Hoon’s group at KIST (Korea Institute of Science & Technology). The position will focus on the design of nanoporous materials such as MOFs for different applications (gas capture, mechanical properties, and excitons in 2D MOFs).

Candidates must have received a Ph.D. degree in Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science from university with a track record in publishing scientific research in international peer reviewed journals. Strong background in quantum mechanical methods including density functional theory and programing languages (Python/Fortran) is highly desirable.
