The Sharada Lab at the University of Southern California is looking for a postdoctoral researcher in computational chemistry to work on a project funded by the Department of Energy. The project will develop tools that harness the computational power of the next-generation computer architectures and workflow automation to carry out high-throughput studies of photochemical pathways for CO₂ reduction. In collaboration with Prof. Anna Krylov (USC) and experimental research groups, this work will examine the dynamics of excited state intermediates in photoredox cycles, establish novel workflows to automate large-scale tasks, and develop the tools to analyze large datasets. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in both computational chemistry as well as method development and programming.
