The Data Driven Materials Discovery and Materials Informatics (Data-MI) Group is seeking to appoint a postdoc in data driven materials modelling with knowledge in DFT and/or molecular dynamics modelling.  

The role

As a research fellow within the data driven materials discovery and materials informatics group you will be responsible for

▪ Developing and implementing a novel framework for the validation of advanced materials modelling via the use of novel machine learning and AI paradigms

▪ Developing and applying novel methods and tools for materials digitalization using cutting edge data science approaches.

The position is supported primarily by the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 grant OpenModel (https://open-model.eu) and is initially fixed for 24 months with the possibility for extension depending on funding and mutual agreement.
