A PhD position is available in Device Modelling group at University of Warwick in the UK.

The aim of the project is to exploit charge and heat transport through quantum materials for nanoelectronic applications. The candidate will receive broad training in computational materials modelling and gain experience with cutting edge quantum transport simulation methods, conduct a dynamic research project, publish high quality papers and would have an opportunity to collaborate with internationally leading experimental groups in the UK, Europe and beyond.

The applicant is expected to have a first-class or 2.1 honours degree (BSc or MSc) in physical science or engineering disciplines and a strong interest in computational materials modelling.

There are also funding opportunities to cover university fees and maintenance allowance.
