The Doctoral Candidate (DC) will be hired for two consecutive 18-month periods as part of the “Bridging Models at Different Scales To Design New Generation Fuel Cells for Electrified Mobility (BLESSED)” project, which is funded through the Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Networks.

The Blessed Industrial Doctoral Network (DN) is an international, multi-partner doctoral research-training network with the aim to prepare an international cohort of Doctoral Candidates in the design process of next generation of PEMFCs (Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells) for maximising efficiency and longevity, with direct implications for clean energy and sustainable industry/mobility. The ID-network brings together world-class academic expertise on numerical modelling and simulation in electrochemistry, reacting flows, fluid mechanics, materials, optimisation techniques and ML industrial developers.

The DC will be hosted by the company SIMUNE, Spain and the University of Freiburg, Germany.
