Job Description

Quantum-mechanical and Molecular Dynamics simulations of nanopore materials for protein detection. The project will be carried out within the framework of the newly funded nanodiagBW cluster (https://www.hahn-schickard.de/en/news-detail/nanopores-technology-nanodiag-bw)

Requirements

The position requires a university Master's degree in the Natural Sciences. Specifically, candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:

theoretical background in one of Physics/Chemistry/Biology

experience with computer simulations in the Natural Sciences

above average University grades

enthusiasm to learn

willingness to actively collaborate with other researchers and disseminate research in different formats.
