Steam Lab led by Prof. Can Ataca is focused on multi-fidelity modeling of quantum materials at chemical accuracy. Steam Lab is located at the Department of Physics, University of Maryland-Baltimore County campus. Due to the close proximity to many government labs, prospective students will have opportunities (via internships and fellowships) to work closely with researchers at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and the National Institutes of Science and Technology (NIST).
