The Faculty of Science, Technology and Communication at the University of Luxembourg invites applications for a 

Professorship in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics

The new professor will be a member of the Physics and Materials Science Research Unit. He or she will reinforce and expand the theoretical and/or computational activities of the Unit in the field of soft matter, biophysics, or other areas of condensed matter physics. He or she should be able to develop and combine innovative theoretical and computational tools (e.g statistical or machine learning methods). Synergies with existing theoretical and experimental groups in Luxembourg (for example within the Unit or with the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine) are desirable.
