The Khaliullin group (McGill University) accepts applications for two postdoctoral positions in the area of high-throughput computational materials design. The emphasis of the projects is on the development of computational methods for rapid screening of battery materials and exotic 2D materials.

Required qualifications:
* Ph.D. obtained no later than 2020 in physics, chemistry, materials science, applied mathematics or relevant disciplines;
* Solid coding skills.

Desired qualifications:
* Publication record demonstrating experience in developing new simulation methods;
* Good knowledge of numerical methods and algorithms in the field of linear algebra, statistics, optimization;
* Working knowledge of electronic structure methods (DFT, QMC);
* Familiarity with machine learning methods and their applications in materials modeling.
