Job description:

The European Center for Theoretical Studies in Nuclear Physics and Related Areas (ECT*) in Trento (Italy) calls for three Researcher Positions, with start dates January 2022 (or thereafter, one position) and October 2022 (two positions).
 
The successful candidates will be expected to conduct research within any of the fields of Theoretical Nuclear Physics and Computational Physics. Particular attention is given to research areas that enable collaboration with the researchers at the Centre. This includes Quantum Chromodynamics, quantum simulations for strongly correlated quantum systems, and hadron therapy.
 
The eligible candidates should have:
•  Master Degree in Physics, Mathematics or other relevant degrees;
•  Research experience in any of the research topics mentioned above;
• Oral and written proficiency in the English language.
Additional requirements:
•  Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics (to be awarded by the start date of the position).
 
The deadline for submission is November 23th, 2021.
