Interface Computational Science (IFCS) Group, National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Tsukuba, Japan is currently seeking for bright, highly motivated *post-doc candidates* who are willing to work on both methodological and application studies on the crucial issues for the next-generation batteries toward the Carbon Neutrality.

Dr. Yoshitaka Tateyama (group leader), and Dr. Randy Jalem (senior researcher) are playing major roles in computational/machine learning teams in several nationwide battery projects in Japan. We are working on mechanisms of high ion conductivity, redox reactions at solid-liquid & solid-solid interfaces, and degradation, via first-principles, force-field and machine learning calculations, and also conducting material search as well. Successful candidates will work on these interesting topics associated with battery.
