We invite applications for a postdoc position at the department of Materials Science and Engineering at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden. We are looking for talented and highly motivated candidates to work on ab-initio molecular dynamics modeling of diffusion and ionic conductivity in glassy electrolytes for Li-metal batteries.
The appointment is for 1 year and it is funded by the Carl-Triggers Stiftelse in Sweden. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Raquel Lizárraga.
Postdoc candidates should have a PhD in physics or chemistry, or a closely related field, with a very good understanding of methods in condensed matter physics, such as electronic structure calculations and molecular dynamics.
The expected start is between December 2021 and February 2022. The review of applications will start on November 2nd, and continue until the position is filled.
Candidates should send a letter of intentions together with a CV and 2 or more references to Dr. Raquel Lizárraga ([email protected]).
