The  Department of Physics and Astronomy at the  Università degli Studi di Firenze  invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position with a research focus on development of mathematical and numerical methods aimed at the investigation,  theoretical treatment and  modeling of statistical, dynamical and thermodynamic properties of magnetic systems ranging from molecules to solids of different dimensionality, with focus to materials science and technology applications in nano-science

Possible Candidate: Experienced researcher or 4-10 yrs (Post-Doc)

The researcher will have to carry out didactic activities within the three-year degree courses and the master's degree courses related to the scientific disciplinary sector FIS/03 or in the basic physics courses
