The Quantum Transport Theory Group, led by Prof. Branislav K. Nikolic ([email protected]) at the University of Delaware, invites applications for a postdoctoral position focus on the development of quantum-classical methods for current-driven magnetization dynamics in spintronics and/or nonequilibrium problems involving biological molecules. An example of such methods is recent https://arxiv.org/abs/1802.05682 tailored for magnetic domain walls and skyrmions. Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. in theoretical condensed matter physics or related fields. Applicants with experience in time-dependent DMRG or time-dependent NEGF or diagrammatic Monte Carlo will be given priority in consideration. Applicants should provide a Curriculum Vitae, which includes a list of publications and at least three references, as well as one publication exemplifying applicant's expertise. The position is initially for one year, starting August 2018, with possible extensions. Screening of applicants will start immediately.
