A PhD position is available at the University of Toulouse in the group of Arjan Berger and Pina Romaniello to develop a new many-body theory [1,2] for the description of photoemission, optical and x-ray spectroscopy in highly correlated systems. The Ph.D. project will start in October 2020.
This Ph.D. project is financed by the French national research agency and is part of a collaborative project involving the University of Toulouse, the Ecole Polytechnique in Palaiseau and the synchrotron SOLEIL.
Interested applicants are encouraged to apply via email to Arjan Berger (arjan.berger@irsamc.ups-tlse.fr) and Pina Romaniello ([email protected])
Please include a letter of motivation, a CV, and the contact information of one or two academic references.
The review of applications begins immediately.
Applications are accepted until the position is filled.
