Funding: PNRR (Next Generation EU), ICSC - National Center for High-Performance Simulations, Big Data and Quantum Computing
Theme of the research: Ab-initio simulations on magnetic and/or ferroelectric materials, supported by high-throughput and machine learning approaches
Formal requirements: Master’s Degree in Physics or Chemistry or Materials Science or Physical/Chemical/Materials-Science Engineering; PhD OR at least 3 years of activity in areas related to the theme of the opening.
Profile: We look for an independent and motivated scientist with at least three years of experience in modelling – possibly from first-principles – of magnetic and/or ferroelectric materials. Accurate knowledge in the fields of: Solid State Physics, Quantum Mechanics, Electronic Structure Theory, Machine learning applied to the study of functional materials

Theme of the research: Theoretical study of quantum materials showing magnetic ordering and/or correlation effects and/or non-conventional topological properties
Formal requirements: Master’s Degree in Physics or Chemistry or Materials Science or Physical/Chemical/Materials-Science Engineering; PhD OR at least 3 years of activity in areas related to the theme of the opening
Profile: We look for an independent and motivated scientist with at least three years of modelling of magnetic materials and/or showing correlation effects, cooperative phenomena, phase transitions, non-trivial topology, with emphasis of the understanding of microscopic phenomena
