Applications are invited for two postdoctoral positions in Roxana Margine's group at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Binghamton. These positions are sponsored through two U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) awards. The research focuses on introducing new functionalities in the open-source EPW code to enable predictive calculations of superconductivity and other materials properties defined by electron-phonon interactions. Requirements

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Physics, Materials Science, or Chemistry and have a track record in computational materials research at the density-functional theory level and beyond. Relevant qualifications for the positions include experience in electronic structure software development, knowledge of superconductivity theory, and background in many-body perturbation theory.

Expected start date

Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the positions are filled. The positions are renewable for up to three years.
