Our group, located at the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, has two openings for postdoctoral researchers!
We employ first principles methods, statistical thermodynamics, kinetic modelling, and machine learning, to understand how catalysts operate at the atomic scale. We then leverage this understanding to design next-generation catalysts that possess enhanced stability, reactivity, and selectivity.
The two openings are linked to projects aimed at developing sustainable energy solutions for a hydrogen economy.
- Developing catalysts for the sustainable production of hydrogen using liquid organic hydrogen carrier technology. This multi-disciplinary industry/academia collaboration aims to develop technological solutions that will enable Singapore to import green hydrogen in the near future.

- Designing stable, active, selective, and cost-effective catalysts for fuel cells. This project, funded by the young individual research grant (YIRG) from A*STAR, aims to use data-driven approaches to identify next-generation catalytic materials for fuel cell applications.
