There are two Post Doctoral Research Fellowships available in the group of Professor David Scanlon at the Department of Chemistry, University College London.

The positions are funded as part of the ISCF Faraday Battery Challenge - Faraday Institution Phase Two projects (https://faraday.ac.uk/sept-2019-project-announcement/).

One position is focussed on designing next generation Li-ion cathodes as part of the FUTURE cat project (https://faraday.ac.uk/research/lithium-ion/li-ion-cathode-materials/cathode-materials-futurecat/).

The other position is focussed on Na-ion battery chemistry, as part of the NEXGENNA project (https://faraday.ac.uk/research/beyond-lithium-ion/sodium-ion-batteries/).

The appointments will be for 15 months initially, from 1 January 2020 up until March 2021, with the possibility that these will be extended to September 2023.
