Two postdoctoral positions are currently available at UNAM - Institute of Materials Science and Nanotechnology, Bilkent University (Ankara, Turkey) in collaboration with Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) (Republic of Korea). We focus on the application of state-of-the-art modeling and simulation tools in close collaboration with experimental groups to understand, predict, and design of two-dimensional systems.  We are particularly interested in electronic and thermal properties of 2D structures.

Applicants should have a Ph.D in materials science, physics, chemistry or related subjects and have an experience with ab initio and/or MD tools.

The positions are currently for two years with possible extension. The package includes stipend, in-campus housing and health insurance.

For enquiries about these positions and to apply (with a detailed CV including publication list, a summary of academic record and research experience, and names of three references) please contact to Engin Durgun ([email protected]) Applications will be considered until the positions are filled.
