The Physics Department of Trieste University
is opening a Tenure Track professorship (RTD-B) in condensed matter theory.
Research activity:
The scientific activity will be carried out in coherence with the research themes of the 02/B2 competition sector, within the strategic research lines of the Physics Department. In particular, it will concern the modelling of materials on an atomistic scale with numerical simulations on high-performance computing platforms and possibly with machine learning techniques.
The researcher will be involved, also with roles of responsibility and coordination, in the third mission activities planned by the Department.
Teaching activity:
The researcher, within the framework of the competences of the specific scientific-disciplinary field, shall guarantee teaching activities functional to the courses of study in which the Department is engaged.
