The Physics Department at the University of Ferrara invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position with a research focus in theoretical models for magnetic systems.

Possible Candidate: Experienced researcher or 4-10 yrs (Post-Doc)

Teaching activity: lectures in courses about theoretical condensed matter physics.

Research activity: development of theoretical models for condensed matter, with particular reference to the study and micromagnetic simulations of the static and dynamic magnetization in nanostructured magnetic systems and magnonic crystals, with corresponding numeric implementation.
