TENURE TRACK FACULTY POSITION – CONDENSED MATTER THEORY

The Physics and Astronomy Department "Galileo Galilei" of Padova University invites applicants for a tenure-track position in the field of Condensed Matter Theory.

The scientific commitment will include research activities on issues related to complex systems, statistical mechanics of ecological systems and biodiversity, complex networks applied to living systems. The researcher will deal with problems of an interdisciplinary nature, analyze relevant data and formulate appropriate generative models also with the aim of enhancing interdisciplinary collaborations of the Department of Physics and Astronomy.

The frontal teaching activity will be assigned to the researcher annually by the Department according to the discipline of the Regulation on the teaching tasks of the professors and researchers and will cover teachings also with responsibilities compatible with the SSD FIS/03.
