A call for a Tenure-track associate professorship will be opened soon at the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Padova, Italy.

The position, officially named Ricercatore tenure-track, leads, after three-years and upon positive evaluation, to a permanent position as  an associate professor.

The selected candidate is expected to carry research in the broad field of first-principles materials modeling.

A favorable tax treatment is applied to scientists moving to Italy from abroad.

As the position involves teaching, a good command of the Italian language is required.
