The Physics Department of the University of Trento, has an opening for a

tenure-track Assistant-Professor position (RTD-B) in Theoretical Condensed-Matter

Physics (02/B2 FISICA TEORICA DELLA MATERIA - FIS/03).

 

The research effort required is in the field of the first-principles optical and

vibrational properties of solids.

 

The position is initially for three years and, upon positive evaluation from the Department,

may be upgraded to a permanent position as Associate Professor.

To apply it is mandatory to have a PhD and at least 3 years of postdoctoral experience.

Candidate having less than three years of experience can apply provided they hold

the Italian national habilitation for associate professor.

 

The knowledge of the italian language is not a compulsory requirement for the position.
