Tenure-track Assistant Professor

The Department of Physics at the University of North Texas invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank with competitive startup, salary, and benefit packages, with a research focus in Computational Condensed Matter Physics.  Candidates are expected to develop and maintain an active, externally funded research program. Preference will be given to applicants whose expertise complements and/or enhances the physics department's current research programs. Instructional roles include teaching undergraduate and graduate classes, as well as mentoring graduate students.
