The Materials Engineering unit at the University of Turku (Finland) is looking to hire a fixed-term University Teacher in the field of Computational Materials Science, in the group of Prof. Milica Todorović. We seek a person with a background in computational materials science, physics or chemistry. Experience with atomistic simulations, multi-scale computational techniques, scripting, high-performance computing and machine learning algorithms are a bonus. 
 
Teaching duties can be conducted in English. In addition to course planning and lecturing tasks, the candidate will join ongoing research projects, mentor students and develop their own research ideas. This pre-Lectureship position is suitable for postdocs who wish to prepare for the tenure track.
