Our QuantumATK group is a team of world leading experts in atomic-scale simulations who are developing the QuantumATK software.
Scientific Software Specialist in materials simulations
Your role will be to implement and validate new methods and algorithms for atomic scale simulations, such as molecular dynamics, Monte Carlo, and related techniques for both conventional and machine-learned interatomic potentials and DFT simulations. You will also be involved in preparing scientific case studies to be published in leading scientific journals and providing tutorials for our end users.
The tasks require extensive experience with atomic-scale and materials modelling, high performance computing, good communication skills, and programming experience. Experience with coupling of atomic scale and TCAD simulations is a plus. Current team members have a degree in theoretical physics, computer science or chemistry.
