Rutherford International Fellowship Programme

I would like to draw the attention of the Psi-K community to a fellowship scheme offered by the Horizon 2020 and the Science and Technology Facilities Council in the UK. This offers a number of 2-year independent fellowships for  based at the UK national laboratory facilities, in particular the ISIS spallation neutron facility and Diamond Light Source.

This would suit electronic structure theorists/simulators who have a PhD and are interested in developing a research programme of theory/method development, or application related to neutron muon or X-Ray experimental science. STFC has a strong track record in development and application of electronic structure methods, including major code such as CASTEP and CRYSTAL.
