A Postdoctoral position is available at the group of Dr. Fadwa El Mellouhi at the Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute at Hamad Bin Khalifa University as part of the Qatar Foundation. The researcher will work on developing tools and workflows to accelerate the discovery of materials for Environment and Energy using electronic structure calculations, structure search algorithms and various ab initio computational tools together with the application of Machine learning methodologies.

We are seeking candidates with an excellent background in materials science, electronic structure calculations with fine programming and scripting skills. Prior experience in applying machine learning methodologies to materials science will be regarded as a plus.
