Applications are welcome from Young Researcher towards delivery of science and technology (S&T) led solutions for sustainable environment and renewable energy through Scheme for Young Scientists and Technologists (SYST). Innovative ideas in the form of proposal are invited. The last date of submission of the proposal under the abovementioned scheme through the DST website is November 30, 2021. Suitable and interested candidates can email CV and statement of research interest to Dr. Sarbani Ghosh. Review of applications will begin immediately.

The maximum duration of the projects supported under the scheme will be three years. In exceptional cases, extension of the project up to 6 months can be agreed based on the recommendations of the appropriate authority.

Eligibility

Qualification: Master’s degree in any S&T stream. Those having PhD will be given preference. Age: Less than 35 years on the last date of submission of the application. Age relaxation of 5 years for Women/ Differently-abled (Divyangjan) /SC/ST/OBC/EWS.

About You: Highly motivated, Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Knowledge of DFT & MD, Knowledge of programming, Eager to collaborate and work as part of a team
, Preferably PhD in Chemical Engineering, Computational Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science or related area.
