The Department of Physics is seeking a postdoctoral research assistant in computational condensed matter at University of Nebraska at Omaha. The grant titled “Active Cathode Accelerates Titanium Extraction at Room Temperatures” support the position.

The successful candidate must demonstrate prior evidence of relevant expertise, and/or an outstanding research record of accomplishment in computational condensed matter or quantum chemistry.

The initial appointment will be for one years, with a preferred start date in September 2021, though search will continue till position is filled. Extensions for another year is possible.

Applications should include a CV, three references’ e-mail, diversity/equity statement, and a statement of proposed research (no more than one page).
