Newcastle University seeks to appoint a candidate to the position of Professor/Reader of Machine Learning/Data-Driven Chemistry, building on a strong science base of a Russell Group University to enhance the recognised strengths of Medicinal Chemistry and Energy Materials research and support the growth of computational chemistry expertise.

As part of a development strategy based on integrative research and teaching, the School of Natural and Environmental Sciences (SNES) is looking for an outstanding researcher who can provide innovation and academic leadership at the interface between chemistry and computing.   The role will support the translation of fundamental and applied research outcomes at Newcastle and other research institutions into real-world applications.
