Two PostDoc positions are available at the University of Warwick, UK in the group of Prof. N. Neophytou related to  electronic transport in complex bandstructure thermoelectric materials.

The posts are part of the ERC Consolidator Grant COMPLEXthermMA Project ‘Computational Engineering of Thermoelectric Materials with Complex Electronic Structures,’ (undertaken by UKRI).
Key objectives are to investigate the thermoelectric transport properties of advanced materials using Density Function Theory (DFT), Density Functional Perturbation Theory (DFPT) and Boltzmann Transport simulations (BTE).
The project involves significant code development and bandstructure materials engineering for high thermoelectric power factors.
An ideal candidate will have strong experience with an initio software and methodologies, code development, as well as experience in materials science and electronic transport.
