Prof. David Mazziotti is recruiting a research fellow on topics at the interface of quantum information and quantum chemistry to join the MazziottiLab at UChicago Department of Chemistry and the James Franck Institute. This position is a full-time one-year appointment, renewable by mutual agreement. The ideal candidate will have interests across quantum information and chemistry, including electronic structure, dynamics of open quantum systems, or quantum algorithm development. Successful candidates will have background in quantum information from a quantum chemistry/physics or algorithmic perspective. Experience with programming languages and scientific/quantum computing is preferred. A Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical physics, physics, applied physics, computer science or similar is expected by the start date.
