The Qatar Energy and Environment Theory simulation and Modeling group invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in the field of computational Materials Science. The project is on design of Materials for solar cell and is funded by the Qatar National Research fund (QNRF).
The candidate is expected to have a good experience in using popular DFT codes, experience with VASP as well as analysis and HPC tools is highly desired.

Minimum Qualifications:
The applicants are expected to have a Ph.D. degree in physics, chemistry, materials science and engineering or equivalent with a good knowledge of electronic structure calculations in high performance environment. Candidates expecting to get their PhD degrees in the next few months are also encouraged to apply.

Commensurate with experience and qualifications; the benefits package includes housing, utilities, health insurance, and schooling for qualified dependents.
