The Department of Physics in The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Arizona State University invites applications for a full-time, benefits-eligible Postdoctoral Research Scholar position with an anticipated start date in Spring 2023. The postdoc will participate in research activities in the field of 2D magnets under the joint supervision of Prof. Antia Botana and Prof. Onur Erten. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise and strong interests in strongly correlated systems, first-principles calculations and micromagnetic simulations of chiral magnetic systems.

This is a fixed-term, fiscal year (twelve-month) appointment. Renewal of this position is based upon satisfactory performance, availability of resources, and the needs of the university. The position is for one year and can be extended for an additional 2 years.
