One Research Fellow position is available immediately in Prof. Jian-Sheng Wang's theory group at the National University of Singapore.  The research involves theory/modeling of thermoelectrics (electric and thermal transport properties of materials).  The project is on the calculation of the figure of merit ZT of thermoelectric materials, using Boltzmann transport
theory with first-principle inputs.  The candidates are expected to have a good knowledge of the first-principles method (DFT) as well as excellent analytical and computational skills.

The appointment will be for a period of one year.
