The department of physics at Adnan Menderes University , Aydin, Turkey is seeking postdoctoral reasearcher in the area of two-dimensional materials known as MXene to work in the group of Prof. Ethem Aktürk. In this research project, we will focus investigating  the interaction between the two-dimensional materials known as Mxene and the small molecules such as neurotransmitter molecules  (glutamate, dopamine) and some important amino acids glycine and serine in the  atomic level by means of first principles calculation. The candidate will have a Ph.D. degree in Physics and experience with density functional theory/Ab-initio simulation codes (VASP, SİEASTA, Quantum Espresso,...).
