A postdoctoral position is open to collaborate with Alaska Subedi at Centre de Physique Theorique of Ecole Polytechnique, France.  The position is funded by the ANR ELECTROPHONE grant and involves first-principles study of light-control of materials.

The candidate should have a strong interest in the physics of complex materials and experience with first principles methods.  We seek someone who is creative, competitive, determined and has a strong sense of independence.
