The Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague is looking for a new colleague to join the Condensed Matter Theory Department to work on calculations of the electronic structure and magnetism of uranium compounds. The position is linked to a research grant funded by the Czech Science Foundation (GAČR) titled Magnetism and electronic structure of actinides tuned by ionicity. The project is a joint venture with the experimental group of L. Havela at the Charles University.

Review of applications will start in the middle of February and it will continue until the position is filled. The starting date is flexible between March and September (March – May preferred). The contract is offered for one year with a possibility of extension until the end of 2023 upon mutual agreement.
