We are looking for suitable candidates for a postdoc position associated to the grant project “Vibrational effects in nonequilibrium electronic transport through nanosystems”. The work ranges from fully analytical approaches based on nonequilibrium Green’s functions to heavy numerical path-integral quantum Monte Carlo so that I could accommodate candidates with varying backgrounds. The monthly salary throughout the time-span of the grant will be 30 thousand CZK (roughly 1100 EUR) with a chance of little supplement from the department in case of successful publications (high impact journals such as PRL, Nano Letters etc.). This amount is sufficient for a decent life standard in Prague. More detailed description can be found in the attached announcement.
